Pembrokeshire County Council are thinking of turning their backs on their commitment to tackling climate change. They’re planning to review and possibly drop their Declaration of a Climate Emergency made in 2019, despite the worsening climate crisis. And they will consider dumping their plan to deliver Net Zero Carbon emissions in Council operations by 2030.

Crossing Red Lines is exhibition of work by Lawrence Mathias focused on themes of present day conflict and disruption.
The exhibition opens on Sunday 14th September at Haverhub Haverfordwest and runs until 3rd November.

Most are aware of the growing concern about the potential success of Reform UK at the next Senedd election in 2026. Reform continue to dishonestly claim that climate change is not happening. They argue that they are on the side of the poor and that policies such net zero are causing price rises and destroying British jobs.
It is vital that we continue to speak out against this green bashing agenda.
We have recently been sorting the old papers from Pembrokeshire Friends of the Earth. It has been a fascinating process and what is amazing is how the details may have changed but the themes are much the same.
